And guess what? My point still stands and your apparent unwillingness to expand your vocabulary is not a valid counterargument.
And there you go again. Just your MO my friend. Belittle me all you want. I am a big boy with a college education So I don't wan't or need any of this "holier than thou" from you. And I am sure as hell glad I didn't go to Auburn. But you keep thumping your chest all you want to, and beat on that drum a little more. Because, quite frankly to me, it is annoying.

I don't know that he's been untruthful at Auburn but refusing to cooperate doesn't look good for a guy with a track record like his. I think we both agree that such behavior from him will end with him getting fired

It's not clear to me that he will be fired over this issue (frankly its more likely that he wont be) and if he is, it will be an arbitrary decision that would cost Auburn a lot of money when Pearl sues them over his termination.

You really don't get to lob a direct personnel attack while admitting you're either too uninterested or simply unwilling to even put forth a modicum of effort to understand another point of view and then act like you're the one being wronged when your argument is called out for being flaccidly lacking substance. Literally, your counterpoint was a rant against "big words" which seemed to suggest that people who use them are motivated to do so simply to belittle you. That's actually double weird when considering the big word that set you off was in a post that wasn't even directed at you. And jeeps, the big word that set you off consisted of all of two flippin' syllables.

PS: If you feel as if you've been branded as lacking a college education, you're the one railing against big words and the only one talking about whether you've earned a degree or not.

PS PS: In case it's too hard to use a dictionary:

    NOUN

a small quantity of a particular thing, especially something considered desirable or valuable:
"his statement had more than a modicum of truth"
    synonyms: small amount · particle · speck · fragment · scrap · crumb · grain · morsel · shred · dash · drop · pinch · soupçon · jot · iota · whit · atom · smattering · scintilla · hint · suggestion ·

A brief stretch midway through the second half where it was too close for comfort for UC, but generally a comfortable win in game one. Good to have college basketball back again. Mostly garbage on tap tonight (Texas A&M and WV is pretty good), but the good matchups are coming soon. Duke/Michigan State and Kentucky/Kansas on Tuesday.

Jacob Evans is one to watch for the Bearcats. I think he has pro potential.

Nice to see the easy win for UC. Any idea on why Broome only played 20 mins?

Somewhere in Boston Larry Bird is smiling.

Texas A&M manhandles WVU with one of their top players suspended. I don’t know if Texas A&M is that good or WVU is that bad.

So, the NCAA won't punish Carolina for having kids go to fake classes but they suspended a kid for a game for playing in a church league basketball game. How tone deaf can they be?
