    We Made the NY Times!

Did anyone catch this article, What to Do in 36 Hours in Cincinnati?

Cincinnati is experiencing a boom, especially in the Over-the-Rhine district where rich cultural offerings and breweries thrive.

It's a good write up that shows off how things have improved in recent years. Nice to get this sort of national "pub"...

So, basically, hang out in OTR or the Museums?

    Thanks NYT.

AND the Wall Street Journal; but the WSJ isn't quite as complimentary (granted, it's an actual news article and not just fluff like the NYT piece)

I was assuming the "we" meant Redszone.

Well, this is an article more geared towards the economics of rebuilding a downtown neighborhood. I felt it was quite complimentary. I don't think it's a negative when property values go up. In this case, it gives the example of a resident who had his apartment sold so he had to move...5 miles to the north. Small price to pay for progress.

I found this link more friendly:

Yeah, definitely not a "negative" article. I just wanted to mention that it also wasn't a puff piece like the NYT one.

The article spun it as a negative when property values went up. Of course property values go up when you clean up a neighborhood.

I don't think it really spun it as an overall negative. Just pointed out that there are negative consequences for the people living in the neighborhood when that happens, which is true.
