Payton was waived by the Browns at the beginning of the season when he was suspended for violating the NFL's drug policy last season ... but Higgins, along with FA acquisition Ken Britt, were the biggest culprits at ball dropping. They released Britt (good riddance), and can do the same with Higgins as far as I'm concerned.

Since his return, Josh Gordon had an immediate impact, catching 18 passes for 335 yards and a touchdown. In the loss to the Steelers, he had four catches, 115 yards. So, IMO, having Coleman and Gordon next year will help. But they need to address the TE situation.
Fair enough. I was going by ESPN where they labeled Seth DeValve as a WR:

Round 4, Pick No. 138 Seth DeValve, WR, Princeton

The Browns need a franchise quarterback. They've gone the route of taking QBs late in the first round or in the second day with no success. When you have the opportunity to take a guy who most believe is worthy of 1.1, you have to do it.

Bored. Did a super early mock -

    1, 1 - Sam Darnold, QB, USC
    1, 4 - Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama
    2, 1 - Jaire Alexander, DB, Louisville
    2, 3 - Da'Ron Payne, DT, Alabama
2, 31 - Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame
    3, 1 - Sony Michel, RB, Georgia
4, 1 - Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina
    4, 24 - Dorance Armstrong Jr., DE/OLB, Kansas
    5, 1 - Frank Ragnow, OL, Arkansas
5, 26 - Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
    6, 1 - Austin Corbett, OL, Nevada
    7, 1 - Ebenezer Ogundeko, DE/OLB, Tennessee State
Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.
