    He had the longest continuous service during the European battles of Easy Company.

    Not many of this generation left now. Its sad to see these guys pass. They were true heroes. I read his book a number of years ago and remember it being very good. I'm glad they were able to cash in just a little on all of their experiences and share them with us.
