    Or shed Shed

Shed didn't have a great 2017. I think there's a good chance he rebounds in 2018. If you deal him right now I believe you'd be dealing im pretty low. Unless someone insists he be in cluded in a deal and let him rebuild some value.

I thought Shed had a good year in 17. While his initial transition to AA was rough, his first half was excellant and I don't thing his trade value has been hurt at all.

312/380/543/922 with 13 homers and 16 doubles in 280 PA at Daytona is solid.

As a comparison, he is a month younger than Jose Siri and ended the season two levels higher. His Daytona numbers are all better than what Siri put up in his Dayton breakout.

He had an .834 OPS in total. I suspect his stock is pretty high.
Wait until the year after next year.

I'd say if that's the case the Reds don't realize just how much improved the team could be with Senzel in LF.

If we are moving Senzel at all. I still think the Reds view him as the 3B of 2018. Maybe May of 2018, but 2018. And if that is the case, Suarez needs to be in his new position.

Basically, what DW says to the media may not be full disclosure, but I think you can trust the general gist of what he says. So, when he says Suarez is the 3rd baseman, Suarez will be playing 3B if he's on the team.

Sports execs only lie when people ask them questions.

    Haha.

    This could be true.

I've been lied to by sports execs when I've asked them questions.

    But enough about Jim Bowden.
There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that “my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge." -- Isaac Asimov
