    Reds renew with WLW

The Reds and 700 WLW announced a five-year extension of their radio-rights agreement through the 2022 season.

WLW-AM aired the first radio broadcast of a Reds game in 1924 and has served as the team's flagship station since 1969.

Was there any chance they were going elsewhere? seems like all of the Cincinnati radio stations are owned by 1 company.

I mean, I put in my bid. Apparently only having the ability to reach people within 1200 feet of my broadcast position wasn't good enough.

Sad, I bet those people within 1200 feet are true fans.

Probably not but the Cardinals left the blowtorch of KMOX a few years ago for a station with lower power but I think there were other perks thst made it better to do it.

We could text-to-speech the game threads.
What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?

All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
