The Reds have released Alex Webb.

The Reds drafted Webb in the 9th round of the 2016 draft out of UBC (5K$ bonus), he's from the Vancouver area.

The 24 year old had a 4.82 ERA over 99 innings over the past 3 seasons, peaking at A+.

Kinda liked him. IIRC he started off pretty well, got injured, and never really got back on track.

The Reds have released Justin Bellinger and Hector Vargas.

Bellinger was a 22nd round pick in 2017 out of Duke, he saw action in 69 RK level games over 2 seasons.

Vargas was signed in August 2012 out of the Dominican, the utility infielder saw action in 402 minor league games - topping out in high A.
