Hitter - Miguel Hernandez
Pitcher- Jesus Reyes
Tom Servo (04-03-2018)
Hitter: Oakey
Pitcher: Howard
Because just being average would be a huge break out for both
In the dream a little dream scenerio of guys who could break out and help the reds as early as this summer:
AlfRod
Guterriez
Posting in the clutch since twenty ought two.

This is really hard. Pressed, however, I'll cast my lot with Mariel Bautista and Wennington Romero.
However, guys that I expect might rise to new levels (but are already acknowledged as legitimate prospects) are Tyler Stephenson, Vlad, and Miles Gordon.
But if I'm reaching for one deeper sleeper, I'd take a shot with pitcher Ryan Olson, a 2016 draft choice who's made only four appearances in two years, and none since last April 25. Don't know his health status, although he's on the Dayton roster. I do know that in his first professional game, last April, he threw 7 innings of 2-hit, walkless, scoreless ball, and in his second, he tossed a complete game, 4-hit shutout.
Nick Howard and Alfredo Rodriguez.
Not sure "breakout" is the right category. Let's call them "comeback prospects of the year."
Connor Bennett. Undersized bulldog type who has improved each year. Size and low round draft pick have left him out of prospect discussions. The ultimate sleeper. High K rate and low hit rate last year at Billings.
Vlad
Scott Moss
Chris Okey
Vlad is currently a highly rated Reds prospect, but I see him as a top 50 prospect in all of MLB by mid season rankings.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Tyler Stephenson and Jose Garcia - two hitters, no pitchers.
If I had to take a pitcher, Nick Howard (or Nick Hansen, if he actually plays this year). I like Nick H's in 2018
Go BLUE!!!

People picking Nick Howard are far braver than I am, I was on that train two years ago and fell off. I likle the boldness though.
And if we're being bold, how about the idea of former 1st rounder DJ Peterson becoming a late bloomer by recapturing the swing that at one time made him a prospect darling? I at least like the odds of it better than those of the recently departed Eric Jagielo.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Howard and Hanson are both on the return from being nicked up.
(Sorry I thought I may may never be able to use that one again)
Does anyone know Nick Howard’s plan to start the season as it goes?
Not to side track from the thread.
I’ll go with Miles Gordon and Scott Moss
