Gonna win.
So Castillo, Hamilton, Peraza in a row reduces the chance of Peraza hitting into a double play. A routine Ground out makes Peraza twice as valuable as he is hitting into a double play. The Reds have this advanced stats thing down pat.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
This batting order is intended to help generate an offense by putting four LH hitters in a row, Winker, Votto, Gennett, Schebler.
Peraza would be Dusty's ideal lead off man.

The bottom of that order makes me shudder.

What would you say.....ya do here?
Nah, Dusty would go:
1. Billy Hamilton (S) CF
2. Jose Peraza (R) SS
3. Joey Votto (L) 1B
4. Devin Mesoraco (R) C
5. Scott Schebler (L) RF
6. Scooter Gennett (L) 2B
7. Jesse Winker (L) LF
8. Alex Blandino (R) 3B
9. Luis Castillo (R) P
CF goes 1
SS is 2
Need the power bat 4th
Winker and Blandino have the low in the lineup rookie slots.
