No Duval tonight.

No Gennett either, somewhat curious with a righty starting for Milwaukee.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Jim Day is doing the game tonight too. We get a Thom reprieve!

The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

I really like that lineup tonight. Except for Scooter not playing this is really the main line up I would run out against righties. It is about the best defensive lineup they can run out as Winker I think should be more a left fielder and I like Schebler in the cleanup spot
Spring training of which year?Joe Danneman

Riggleman: Scooter Gennett's throwing shoulder is a little sore. Been bothering him since spring training. Sitting tonight. Is available to pinch hit. #Reds

Back to the OF rotation. Outfielders are healthy. No more DH. Duvall’s turn to sit.
All fine, too bad Scooter’s out, lineup lacks power, hope it works out.

Can Finnegan be successful topping out around 90? What happened to his fastball? Still cant throw strikes so if he's holding back velocity it ain't helping. I know he missed a whole year but his velocity is alarming to me

92 mph four seamers to get out of the jam at least.

Some fans in the seats behind home plate, but a pretty sparse crowd again.

Votto walks, but Reds out in the 1st.
