Was Albert Almora Sr. famous? I'm always intrigued by people who insist on being called "Jr.", or "the 3rd", or "the 9th", especially when their predecessors weren't well-known.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

    Leadoff hit against Castillo.

Kind of have a bad feeling about him today. Even with his hot streak he's been giving up HRs, and the Cubs are really good at those.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Single, single, fly out, and now a walk to Russell to bring up Schwarber with the bases loaded. Not good.

    Yesiree! Luis escapes.

Hope Homer didn't wake up the Cubs hitters. I know that's negative thinking, but there were so many hits yesterday.

Castillo needs to make up for lost time and turn in another decent performance and quiet those Cubs, putting them back to sleep for a few more days, at least.

    Bases loaded for Schwarber.

You can’t make this stuff up.

    DP!!!

Nice play by Gennett on the slowish grounder.

Nice job by Scooter to take advantage of Russell not slowing down

    Nice, Castillo!

Got out of there with 18 pitches, too.

No. Almora seemed to tweak something though, but that's not our problem.

Is it me, or does Winker strike out a lot?

Those were all in Peraza's swing Zone. That's a good omen for today.

It's you, that was only his fourth in May. He is obviously slumping though.

Votto looked all out of sorts against Hendricks.
