    Cubs closer Brandon Morrow heads to 10-day DL after hurting his back taking off his pants:

    Morrow said he felt back spasms early Monday morning when he was getting undressed at home after the Cubs had returned from a night game in St. Louis.

    "It's frustrating any time you can't get out there, especially when you can't go for something as stupid as taking your pants off," Morrow said. "Getting hurt any time is frustrating, but when it's not related to throwing a baseball, it's even more frustrating."

    Interesting that Escobar has already doubled (sic) his doubles total from last year in barely over half the at-bats

    These minor arguments on certain plays (sliding into 2nd for example) where players disagree and angry but nothing much else and then the dugouts evacuate for no reason and then 20 seconds later the bullpen guys test their hamstrings by flying in....just dumb and ridiculously overreacting. Just dumb.

    Kyle Schwarber has a positive defensive rating as far as fWAR goes.
