    Infielder Alex Blandino, who has been rehabilitating from reconstructive surgery of his right knee since last year, has been playing in extended spring games. On Monday, Blandino is slated to begin a rehab assignment with Louisville.

    It would be sweet if Blandino suddenly found his swing and it stuck, but 2nd base right now has DD and the hard hitting Peraza with his huge BA and sting of HR's in the way.. *cough
    Remember when the Reds had pretty darn good 2nd basemen always in the wings and in the big leagues?
