The only way this works is if they players are allowed to get together and assign nicknames to one another.

I doubt those would be family friendly.

And not one person has brought up Suarez's nickname. Nicolle? Must be a tribute of some kind

He used it last year because it was the name of his then-unborn daughter. I'm assuming the baby has been born by now, otherwise he has one miserable wife.

Nicolle was born - mother and baby are healthy and happy.

This should be Votto's walk-up music for the weekend:

Other than the obvious Canadian connection, I haven't seen any speculation on the significance of Joey's choice. Rebuild fatigue? Rebirth? Carrying on the fight after so many have departed?

Harvey and Bailey need some originality lessons.

Robert Stephenson should be "The Author".

Good to see DeSclafini likes what RZ nicknamed him.

Hamilton had better hope that whoever stitches these nicknames on the back of the jersey doesn't mess up and add R to the end of his.
His nickname in college was "Tony Disco."

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.
