Normally I agree with you but this season they host the Cardinals on that very same weekend and average like 16000 people

Her dad lives on Camano Island which is about an hour north of Seattle. It's absolutely gorgeous there. We were there on the Fourth of July a couple years ago and it was incredible watching the fireworks over Susan Bay. Whidbey Island is beautiful too. And the San Juan Islands are fantastic. Close to the water it doesn't get too hot or too cold. I say go for it.

They probably are making more money by moving these games. I'm sure MLB compensated them very well for the change of venues.

Traffic sucks there, lots of bridges and water causing some of those issues, if you like the sun then it's not for you
If/when I actually move there, I'll settle somewhere in the Puget Sound Rain Shadow.
Oak Harbor which is on Whidbey Island gets like 20 inches of rain and maybe a few inches of snow a year; whereas Cincinnati Ohio gets 2x that rain and 4x that snow.
