Wasn't there a shooting at a high school football game there on Friday. Tough weekend for Jax.
Apparently shooter is dead. Some video/audio out there of the shooting.

Some witness saying it was one of the Madden participants who had just lost....
I'm not 100% sure I buy this person's story.

Yikes, and just think, there are people that want guns allowed in real sporting event venues.

Early reports on any shooting like this are all over the place.
Supposed to be a briefing at 4:30. I hate the dog and pony shows that goes on at these events, where they have 10 people lined up from different agencies, that all feel they have to get their air time. 90% of them add nothing. And most of the time the original guy tries to say nothing.

JUst tying up details from here on out I guess. Everyone seems to think he was a contestant. Have not sure who shot killed him. Apparently one only shooter...

From what I have gathered he was the winner of this event last year, and lost this year and didn't like a call and shot the guy who beat him, a few others and then turned the gun on himself.

He had won before. I saw one in Buffalo. Never saw a reference to him winning before in Jacksonville. It appears the guys killed were not the people that beat him. I saw an interview with the guy who beat him and he was not there at time of shooting.Originally Posted by bounty37h
