Reds sign Fireballer out of Indy League

The man can bring it. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/...ns-112318.html

Indy ball flamethrower Taylor Grover will get a shot with the Reds after signing a minor-league deal, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic writes on Twitter. He worked into the triple digits with his fastball.
Here are his minor-league statistics: https://www.baseball-reference.com/r...medium=linker-

Give credit to the Reds for this one. There must be a reason why the Red Sox gave up on him and he dropped all the way to indy ball. Teams are usually more patient with big arms. Seems unusual to find velocity at that age, but it must have been what happened.

No downside to seeing what he has...
The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

Does he not have a 2nd pitch? Looks like he got pretty good k/bb rating.

    Goodbye, Kenny Powers.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2
