I’m game but he appears to have 4 years of control left. If Seattle was smart (not a guarantee) he will take an elite prospect.

He fits the Suarez mold of really good but not great so maybe you could get a friendly extension.

Haniger would be insanely expensive in prospect currency.

Scooter for Pederson has been my move since this time a year ago. I don’t know if the Dodgers would do it, I think Pederson has three years left of control.

It’s not going to be Billy Hamilton.

Send Robert Stephenson to Oakland for Dustin Fowler.
Same change of scenery player, different positions.

And as a fan of the Royals as well as the Reds, I get the joy of watching Billy flail helplessly at balls in the dirt in front of the plate then watching him in disbelief as he snares a missile in front of the fountain.....oh the joys of being a small market fan for TWO teams!!

    Re: Reds Centerfielder Going Forward

I've dreamed about getting Inciarte since he first came up with Arizona:

    Mark Sheldon
    @m_sheldon

Source -- #reds have talked to the Braves about CF Ender Inciarte. Nothing is imminent, however. Club is talking to a lot of teams/agents here .

Lots of CFers on the market now. JBJ(Bos), Inciarte(ATL), O.Herrera(PHI) all seem to be in play as of today. That bodes well for the Reds.

I would certainly give up a decent prospect for four years of Ender's defense in center.

    Just musing here...

    ATL gets:
    OF Scott Schebler
    RH Raisel Iglesias

    CIN gets:
    OF Ender Inciarte
    RH Julio Teheran
    minor league pitcher

I think I might want Kolby Allard off the Braves.

With his K/9 and K/H numbers? No thanks. That has bust written all over it. Gohara would be my first choice given his youth and stuff. But Bryse Wilson might be better (and younger).

A Royals fan as well. KC-ians will like watching him play defense.

After catching a few of his at bats, I'm sure they'll be wishing he could be out in the field ALL the time.

I have promised to stop making Ender's Game puns whenever Inciarte's name is mentions, but I will say that if the Reds do pick him up, all future centerfielders will be playing in Ender's Shadow.
