    Who is Reds #24 Prospect?

    In a very close vote, James Marinan was voted the #23 Prospect.


    Michael Beltre (23) - OF from Dominican Republic. Split time between Dayton and Daytona. .853 OPS in Dayton, .752 in Daytona.
    Michael Byrne (21) - Closer from Univ Florida - 14th Round 2018 pick. Started in Daytona and 1.25 ERA in 20 innings.
    Fidel Castro (20) RF from Havana, Cuba. Oops. Dominican Republic. Posts .921 OPS in Az Rookie league as 19 year old.
    Jacob Heatherly (20) - LHP from Cullman, AL. 3rd Round draft in 2017. 5.82 ERA in Greeneville.

    I kind of get the Thomas thing but I don't know that I like him more than Bren Spillane who's not even on our board. Anybody want to sell me on him?

    Bren's power broke out with Illinois last year and it was pretty, but I think the Reds got hoodwinked (probably too strong of words) since he struck out in 41% of his PA's in Billings. It's hard to have a .236 batting AVG with a .435 BABip, but he did it.

    He has to work very hard this year to rebound.
