    BA Reds Top 10

    Per CTrent Twitter

    1. Senzel 2. Greene 3. Trammell 4. India 5. Santillan 6. T. Stephenson 7. Long 8. Downs 9. Gutierrez 10. Siani
    The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

    Seems fair. You could quibble around the edges (like we are in the voting threads) about Siri and Friedl.

    Another observation: the Reds have been better at bringing along position players. Seeing that many legit position player prospects makes me hopeful that the org is playing to its strength.

    Siri dropped below Siani. Interesting. Guess they don’t buy into his hit tool/plate discipline.

    Tools =/= talent

    Talent is the innate ability to effectively use one's skillset/tools.

    Loads of it. But it’s unrefined and from a major league perespective, he is not very skilled.

    He'll never hit in the majors. His other skills might lead to a 5th OFer kind of job, but he'll never hit.

    OK, discussion over. It's been settled.

    Lock the thread and drop the mic. Or the keyboard, in this instance.
    In my opinion, "Yunito" will surpass the 20 bambinazos and cut its frequency of stripping, will follow its progress to the offensive and to the defense, its weakest side, will contribute more in the second base than in the shortstop.

    If there was a good solid comp who made good, I think that would move the conversation along. Gomez doesn't fit, he has 750 PAs at the same age. I've suggested in the past that everyone pick a comp and see where that leads. How bout it? Maybe try to find a 5 tool player who is 22 with the same kind of stats. Why not try to figure out what players with his abilities have in a career.
