Well, you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, but ya don't have to call me Yonathan.

As was mentioned over on the ORG, the Reds traded Connor Joe to the Giants in exchange for RHP Jordan Johnson & cash considerations. I thought I'd add this under Minor League Transactions.

Here's an article on Jordan from last year

Jesse Adams, he was drafted by the Reds in the 14th round of the 2016 draft
Connor Ryan, he was drafted by he Reds in the 8th round of the 2017 draft
Edward Escoboza, the Reds signed him out of the D.R. in 2014
Luis Alecis, the Reds signed him out of the D.R. in 2014

Also Jesse Adams. He had an 0.87 WHIP in 2017 but apparently wasn't healthy last year.

A few more releases the last few days: Tim Adleman, Tommy Bergjans, and Patrick McGuff

Remember when people were worried Tim Adelman was going to make the team? Good times.

The Reds have released Josh Rich and A.J. Moore.

Rich was a NDFA signee last summer
Moore was the Reds 10th round draft selection last year.

Brandon Finnegan is moving backwards. He was assigned to Chattanooga from Louisville. Maybe that's procedural, who knows.

    AAA bullpen is quite full:

Bass, Boshers, Bowman, Despaigne, Herget, Krol, Powers, Reed, Reyes, Romano, Stephens, Wisler (if he clears waivers), Wooten, etc.

Two of those guys will probably have to be starters to fill out the rotation with Sims, Gutierrez, and Mella.
