From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:
Coach Ron Rivera said Curtis Samuel is "lightyears" ahead of where he was as a rookie.
Samuel, the 40th pick in the 2017 draft, missed a bunch of time to injury as a rookie before enjoying a second-year leap in 2018. This season, Samuel has been the talk of Panthers camp and is looking like a prime third-year breakout candidate. Some have even suggested Samuel could be Carolina's No. 1 receiver ahead of D.J. Moore when all is said and done. Samuel has been a riser up fantasy draft boards and is currently being selected in the ninth round.

From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:
Damien Williams (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday.
Williams missed 10 days of work after going down early in training camp. Coach Andy Reid sounded frustrated when discussing the injury last week, but Williams is good to go well ahead of Week 1 and just needs to avoid setbacks. That's always easier said than done with hamstrings. However, Williams should be right back in the back-end RB1 mix when the season kicks off.
