    2019 MLB.com Prospect Pipeline Lists

He does not have a weakness, is polished in every area, plays as hard as a guy who is a non-drafted free agent trying to make a roster. So I have nothing but positives to say about Senzel. But the fact is, among the five tools, Siri actually has a decided advantage on Senzel in four of the five. Siri is obviously faster and has a better arm. He obviously has more power. And while Senzel is a very good defensive player, Siri is better. In no way am I saying that Siri is the better prospect because Senzel is much more polished, but if you want to say Senzel is a 60 in four tools, Siri should be too. MLB Pipeline's tool ratings for Siri look like they were assigned by someone that has never seen him play.

Not all skills are created equally.

The ability to actually put the bat on the ball is, unfortunately, a career defining skill.

Honestly, it'd be nice if the entire Reds' team were hated for awhile.

If Siri has some dog in him, all the better, IMO.

(The focus and effort issues, not to much.)

    Top 100 Prospects List

    Reds (4)
    6. Nick Senzel, 3B/2B/OF (ETA: 2019)
    16. Taylor Trammell, OF (2020)
    31. Hunter Greene, RHP (2021)
    53. Jonathan India, 3B (2021)

The Reds have had at least four representatives in the Top 100 for four years running now and it's been a direct pipeline from the Draft. All four on this year's list are draftees, with Senzel (2016), Greene (2017) and India (2018) all first-rounders, while Trammell was a Competitive Balance pick in that 2016 MLB Draft. Senzel, who was No. 7 a year ago, moves up to No. 6, the highest ranking a Reds prospect has garnered since lefty Aroldis Chapman was No. 6 in 2011. The Senzel-Trammell combination is the best prospect tandem in the organization since Jay Bruce and Homer Bailey were top 10 guys in 2007 and 2008.

By a pretty wide margin, I'd say. Though the Pirates look pretty solid.

Reds land at #9 out of 30 teams in MLB Pipeline rankings...

    http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2019/?list=cin

Top 5 prospects (as we expected):
    1. Senzel
    2. Trammell
    3. Greene
    4. India
    5. Santillan

Siani ranked at #7 and Heatherly at #12 are surprises. AlfRod slides all the way to #29.

He doesn’t have a chance with Servo’s smear campaign against him.

Re: 2019 MLB.com Prospect Pipeline Lists

Kuhnel and Hendricks have nice profiles as power arms out of the pen, as do Mella and Herget.

That's an easy way to save a little coin, IMO, and a consistent plus to the Reds' teams of other eras.

Hendrick Clementina, my pick to click, has lost 20 - 30 pounds over the off-season. His main issue was a lack of mobility, and, at 250 pounds, I can see why. His hands and arm were apparently solid behind the plate. This might be the best news of that entire list.
