The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

Clementina is a relatively easy call for me.

Upside is massive as a big-power, good-patience backstop. The first two months of the season, he laid waste to the league. Then he got tired.

Floor is still high, as an offense-first 1B/ C.

If he loses weight, he might end up a legitimate difference-maker.

    Naughty Naughton for me again.

With Shed gone, this is really 18, isn't it?

    Yes
The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

With the above choices I'm actually going "other" with Jose Lopez. He stalled at AAA last year but had a really good 2017 season at AA. I think he's at least as good as Herget who's going at this level.

Re: Who is Reds #19 Prospect?

The Reds paid Lyon Richardson 2M$ to forego his full ride to the University of Florida, just 6 months ago. At this point, I have to go with what their scouting team said, his upside exceeds the other choices. He didn't fair very well last year in limited action, but he was pitching (after fully converting from playing SS and P in highschool) as an 18 year old against hitters age 21, nearly all of whom who had 2 or 3 years of pro experience or collegiate play under their belts.

Lyon had a 7-0 record in 10 appearances with a 0.58 ERA ( 4 ER ) in 48 IP this past year as a HS senior (he allowed only 16 hits and 20 walks while striking out 90). As a SS, he hit .369 - .506 - .646 in 22 starts.

He has reached 98 mph and has a feel for 2 additional off-speed pitches already.

I hope your optimism is correct. I suspect he waits till June to make a squad BTW.

I wouldn't put him in full season ball just yet, I don't think the Reds will either.
