    The Nasty Boys

Was so great listening to Marty and Joe call the 1990 season and how the Nasty Boys dominated for us....Was some of the best moments of my childhood!!!

I used to try and replicate Dibble's pitching motion in little league, and let's just say that I may have been a little wild lol.

First baseball game I ever attended as a boy, we sat above the bullpen at riverfront. I don’t remember anything about the actual game, but I vividly remember watching Dibble warm up before he went in. What stands out the most is how loud the catchers mitt popped every time he threw it. Seemed like it echoed throughout the stadium. That’s my first ballpark memory.

I feel like we've had this discussion before, but is Dibble's 90 the best relief season ever? Has to be up there.

Watching from the CF green seats, seeing Dibble pitch was incredible. I'd never seen pitches move like that. His slider was incredible.

I know there have been teams that have had very good bullpens since the nasty boys but imo none of thrm hold a candle to what they did. If the reds were ahead after 6 innings you pretty much knew it was over. I loved Dibble and he was awesome but in reality the nastiest pitcher on that team was Charlton.

Waves from the RF green seats. My dad and I spent many games in the RF green seats, first row right by the foul pole.

It wasn’t even the best of 1990.

    Eckersley in 90 was better.
