Rank your Top 10 Reds Prospects - 2019 Spring Training Edition

I mentioned I’d like to do this so here we go.

Of course we have our RZ prospect poll, but this is a little different. I’ll award 10 points for #1 ranking, 9 for #2, and so on. The annual prospect poll goes spot by spot which does have limatations, as a swell of support for a guy at a spot may outweigh “negative support” from others. But the poll gives us constant discussion throughout the offseason which I assume is why we have done it that way.

    Ground rules here -

    - players must be currently signed and in the Reds organization (international guys who have “reported” deals are not eligible)
    - players must be eligible for ROY (if promoted to Cincy) as far as prospect eligibility goes
    - this format does allow for vote fudging if you really like/dislike a guy and want to be strategic but I ask you don’t - let’s play it down the middle and give your true Top 10.
    - No Shed Long allowed!
    - There can be ties (hopefully this format gives a low chance of that)

Let’s see how it goes, I’ll start. I plan to let this run at least a week.

    Senzel (1)
    Trammell
    India
    Greene
    Tony Sant
    Siri
    Ty Steve
    Freidl
    Siani
    Vlad Gut.

    UPDATE
Through 19 posters picks we pretty much have a consensus top ten, eighteen overall prospects but the bottom 7 received fewer overall votes than either the tenth or eleventh picks. That eleventh guy, Jose Israel Garcia inches closer to the tenth spot with our 3 latest voters all including him. India was passed by Tony Santillan for the 4th spot, and Mike Siani widens his lead on TJ Friedl for the 9th spot. Senzel was picked first by everyone so far, no surprise in that except it may be a first for RZ consensus. 19 of us agree on something!!

    1. Nick Senzel 190
    2. Taylor Trammell 162
    3. Hunter Greene 151
    4. Tony Santillan 127
    5. Jonathan India 124
    6. Ty Stephenson 91
    7. Vlad Gutierrez 64
    8. Jose Siri 52
    9. Mike Siani 34
    10. TJ Freidl 23

    11. Jose Israel Garcia 15
    12-14. Scott Moss 3
    12-14. Hendrik Clementina 3
    12-14. Mariel Bautista 3
    15. Packy Naughton 2
    16-18. Jimmy Herget 1
    16-18. Lyon Richardson 1
    16-18. Andy Sugilio 1

The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...
