I've seen various reports (updates) on Gennett, like during games and such. They originally said 2-3 months, and it looks like it's going to being late June IMO. He's throwing, but not cleared for any other type of baseball activity. And looking at the type of injury it is, I don't think they're going to push him or you're back to square one rather quickly.

Even if he was healthy, which team HR leader do you bench to pencil him in while he struggles to regain form?
Say what? My guess is they don't want to over promise on him coming back early and the bench has filled in nicely so they aren't trying to rush him back. Once he gets back to baseball activities they will probably have a much more clear picture on what to expect.Originally Posted by North
