Minor League Game Thread for Saturday - 4/6/19

Lookouts picked up the 1st win of the season tonight winning 6-5.

CHATTANOOGA - The bullpen faltered, allowing the Biscuiteers to take a temporary 5-4 lead.

But the Lookouts scored twice in the 8th and lead the proceedings 6-5. And it has gone final. Chattanooga 6-5.

Hendrix and Powers each worked a shutout frame.

Friedl with a pair of singles. Siri two singles and a double. Trammell with the big blow, a 3-run jack. Siri and Trammell each drew a free pass. Isabel single and walk. LaValley single and walk. Narciso Crook single and double.

Alfredo Rodriguez came on to play short in a defensive switch. He got one at-bat and whiffed, leaving 2 on base. I am laying off of Rodriguez too. He simply cannot hit.

Just looked at the box to see how Siri, Friedl, Trammell, Crook, Lavalley and Isablel are all in the line-up on the same day. Lavalley playing 3B pushing Brantley Bell to 2B and Crook the DH. It seems that defensively challenged guys playing out of position isn't just due to circumstance, but an actual organization philosophy.
