Taylor says he won't be playing his starters much tonight...the 3rd game is often looked at as the dress rehearsal however more and more teams are choosing to rest their starters more and more in the preseason.

I don’t know what will shake out on the o-line but I’m glad they are getting reps to young players. With today’s practice culture it’s hard to get them decent full go snaps."

Fact is, Lewis played favorites and would let young talent not drafted that high sit on the bench. Look what happened at the end of 2017. All those injuries, Lewis was forced to use the younger players. Unfortunately, they won those last 2 games for Marvin, insuring his re-hire by Brown.
I don’t know. Billy Price was bad enough last year that even Marvin probably would’ve benched him.

Rodney Anderson looking like quite the steal so far tonight...

however the run game has been crap, everything is 2 yds or less.

8 carries for 7 yards. This is the textbook definition of sarcasm.

Giants just blew it open on a punt return.

If you took a drink every time Anthony Munoz says "I'll tell you what", you would get drunk pretty quick.

I don't know. I was thinking the game would include the comment "...(it/he) really is..." in response to something his partner in the booth said that he agrees with...

48 carries for 116 this preseason...that is bad...

I don't think they'll be able to hide him on the PS.

Probably not exactly opening up the playbook.

I agree and plus not having Mixon out there hurts the averages however they are opening no holes...pass protection from first unit looks decent though with Dalton under center.

I don't think they were ever thinking they could. Once he was healthy enough to avoid PUP, he was going to be on the 53 man roster along with the other three RBs.

Don't measure a RB just by ypc, but measure him also by yac. Don't know what his is, but I wouldn't hesitate to assume that his average first contact is at the LOS, and if this is the case, then his ypc is a good number.

Jake Dolegala looked really good against the Giants. Cannon for an arm, good pocket presence too. Made some beautiful throws with guys right in his face. Hopefully we'll see a lot more of him next Thursday.
