    Who is your favorite Non-Reds MLB Player?

    Do you happen to have a favorite MLB player on another team in the league?

    For me, I’m a big fan of Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson. I’ve been following him for the past few years, and I’m happy to see him finally having some success at the MLB level this year. He’s someone who to me comes across as a pretty likable guy, down to earth, great to the fans. I wouldn’t mind seeing him one day don the wishbone C.

    I’ve had pretty good luck seeing my favorite non-Reds players eventually wind up with the Reds in the past, for better or worse. Manny Trillo ended his career with a cup of coffee in Cincinnati. Ken Griffey Jr. eventually found his way here. Unfortunately, Nolan Ryan never pitched for the Reds, but you can’t win them all.

    My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

    I guess I tend to gravitate towards the good players because my list is:

    Mike Trout
    Nolan Arenado
    Max Scherzer
    Zack Greinke
    Juan Soto
    Manny Machado
    Mookie Betts
    Michael Brantley
    Tommy Pham
    Matt Chapman

    And I'm still mad at him for victimizing the Reds but Jeff McNeil on the Mets is fascinating, a guy who doesn't walk or strikeout much, just hit. Willians Astudillo too.
