10 pitches this inning so far, none of them hit 90 mph

Puig has Peraza-level plate discipline this year. Move him by the deadline.

Unless you are sure you tipped that you gotta run there. That's just bad. This teams needs baserunners any way they can get them.

A guy hitting like Puig with no long-term contract should be concerned about getting released after a play like that. Just unbelievable.

Not only that, he has a lot of holes w/i the strike zone. You can get him out all day by throwing FBs in the top 1/3 of the strike zone. Any MLB pitcher can do that. You don't have to be Aroldis Chapman

2 straight easy outs because of the shift. Thom says nothing. How many times have you heard him moan about a ball getting through because of the shift?

This must not be the case when he is hitting well. I'd imagine that's just the way it is now and hes pressing. He cant be this bad but who knows if it will turn around while hes with the Reds.

Prime example of why I would never sign him past this season. He does not give a full effort many times. That's the big reason the Dodgers dumped him.

Hendricks has not given up an earned run in 24 innings at Wrigley. Thom cannot believe that the Reds haven't been lighting him up.

Hendricks rolls along in the third. I see another shutout today.
