not only was parker great when he played for the reds, "we" were able to flip him for jose rijo when he was starting to get washed up.

Anyway a couple months later the family heads to VA. beach. One evening I go to a Tides AAA game. None other than Dave Williams is pitching for Tides. He gets hammered again. I did get to see a Michael Tucker HR though.

I can't believe that the most votes Parker ever got for the HOF was 24.5%.

To add to the older favorites, all of whom I share, here are two more names: Don Hoak and Gene Freese

Re: who is your favorite red that played for pittsburgh

According to Baseball Reference, 249 players have played for the Reds and the Pirates.

Only 3 played in 500 games for each team (Dave Parker, Jake Beckley, Jerry Lynch).
Only 3 pitchers had at least 40 wins for each team (Pink Hawley, John Smiley, Red Lucas)

Since 2000, the players who played for both teams are:
    -John Vander Wal
    -Joe Randa
    -Pokey Reese
    -Kip Wells
    -Sean Casey
    -David Ross
    -Marlon Byrd
    -Ruben Mateo
    -Xavier Paul
    -Ryan Ludwick
    -Chris Stynes
    -David Williams
    -Ross Ohlendorf
    -Drew Sutton
    -Jared Hughes
    -Zach Duke
    -Jose Silva
    -Josias Manzanillo
    -Josh Fogg
    -Mike Lincoln
    -Jimmy Anderson
    -Bronson Arroyo
    -Cesar Izturis
    -Ron Villone
    -Phil Dumatrait
    -Edinson Volquez
    -Phil Gosselin
    -Victor Santos
    -Dennys Reyes
    -Dan Serafini
    -Jake Elmore
    -Benito Santiago
    -Rookie Davis
    -Curtis Partch
    -Rick White

Wow. Thats about as mediocre as you can get.
