Rey, a 13th rounder last year out of Miami-Dade Community College, hit his 6th HR for the Dragons last night. That's notable because it puts him in a tie for the Dragons lead despite the fact that his season really started in mid-May and so he's got just over 100 PAs. He didn't put up big numbers last year in Greeneville but showed a little bit of everything besides the power he's now displaying this year. He's not really taking walks like he did last year so that's something to improve on but overall he's gotten good reviews for his outfield defense and he's hitting for average and power, so there's quite a bit to like about this 21-year-old!
