They can try, but that’s a tough contract. Probably won’t see it until the deadline.

I’ll be the first to speculate CP3 to the Hornets.

I'd put Miami, Orlando, Detroit and Chicago down as possibilities too. And would Dallas possibly jump in here?

They're fascinating if flawed. Seems like a nightmare matchup for the Lakers.

Re: NBA 2019-2020 (I知 not your fwend buddy!)

In the middle of Isaiah's interview with Stotts, the Woj-Bomb gets dropped, so he asks, "In this era of Free Agency,...Houston is now better (though that was a trade), Kahwi comes over to the Clippers, LeBron and Anthony Davis pair up together (though that also involved a trade), the West has become a,...this...Juggernaut,...this Super-Juggernaut,...the idea of a 1-16 seed,...how do you feel about that?"

It's a question we've all asked. Stotts responds by comparing it to the NFL and MLB, where Conference Championships mean something, and that he likes that the NBA celebrates Conference Championships more lately.

Personally, I like tiers in leagues.

    Back to the Westbrook trade.

    HOU is much, much better.

OKC is much, much better. They can develop their players now while they have the assets that a G.M. like Presti can't help but do great things with. He's always had an eye for talent. This will be a very fast rebuild.

Re: NBA 2019-2020 (I知 not your fwend buddy!)

All right, rank the backcourts (listed by conference finishing order from last season):

Golden State - Steph Curry and D'Angelo Russell
Denver - Jamal Murray and Gary Harris
Portland - Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum
Houston - James Harden and Russell Westbrook
Utah - Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley
OKC - Chris Paul and SGA (this probably won't last long)
San Antonio - DeMar DeRozan and Dejounte Murray
LAC - Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams
Sacramento - De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield
LAL - Rajon Rondo and Danny Green
Minnesota - Jeff Teague and Josh Okogie
Nola - Jrue Holiday and J.J. Redick ( or Lonzo Ball)
Dallas - Luka Doncic and Delon Wright
Phoenix - Devin Booker and Ricky Rubio

Milwaukee - Eric Bledsoe and Pat Connaughton (or maybe George Hill or Wes Matthews)
Toronto - Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell
Philly - Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson
Boston - Kemba Walker and Jaylen Brown
Indiana - Victor Oladipo and Malcolm Brogdon
Brooklyn - Kyrie Irving and Joe Harris (or Spencer Dinwiddie)
Orlando - Evan Fournier and D.J. Augustin
Detroit - Reggie Jackson and Tony Snell
Charlotte - Terry Rozier and Nic Batum
Miami - Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic
DC - Bradley Beal and Isaiah Thomas (until John Wall gets back)
Atlanta - Trae Young and Kevin Huerter
Chicago - Zack LaVine and Tomas Satoransky (or maybe Kris Dunn)
Cleveland - Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson (or Darius Garland)
NYC - R.J. Barrett and Elfrid Payton

Indiana has to have the best one...I might be a tad biased.
...and this one belongs to the Reds.

    As a top 10 I'll go with:

    1. Houston
    2. Golden State
    3. Portland
    4. Boston
    5. Utah
    6. Indiana
    7. Philly
    8. Miami
    9. Denver
    10. Sacramento

Gave serious consideration to Brooklyn, Dallas, Nola and San Antonio. If Paul George plays SG, then the Clippers vault onto the list.

LeBron is officially being listed as PG, btw.

    HOU: total rebuild
    LAL: total rebuild
    POR: total rebuild
    LAC: total rebuild
    GSW: total rebuild
    UTA: total rebuild
    DAL: total rebuild
    NOP: total rebuild
    MEM: total rebuild
    OKC: total rebuild

DEN and SAS: Only quality teams that have continuity

MIN and SAC: relatively similar in personnel

    PHO: nobody cares

This is new territory from a fan's perspective. I wish I had time for League Pass. Never had as much interest in following a season as this one, while the East will be equally as interesting to watch it unfold.

My bad. I wasn't clear. I think OKC flips him to CLT. Hornets need a draw and a creator now that Kemba's gone. CP3's from just up the road in Winston-Salem. Both teams package a few other picks/players/salaries and CP3 gets to go home.
