8 hitting from the right side + Votto.
Maybe that's a good recipe to beat Lester.

Absolutely ridiculous to have Scooter, Winker, and Dietrich all on the bench. Iglesias is ops'ing .657 vs LHP and has hit 5th 3 games in a row. Farmer is crushing LHP this year so today seems like a good time to give him a start.

Putting Scooter out there for a third straight day against a leftie just coming off an injury would be pushing it. Winker or Dietrich I wouldn't mind in the lineup however.

Agreed. Farmer should at least get the nod over Peraza at 2B. Casali hitting 9th also makes zero sense to me.

Lol at Peraza. Bell should be fired just for playing him too much. We can’t waste games by putting Scooter on the bench. He needs to play and get at bats so we can trade him. Putting a trade chip on the bench who hasn’t played all year is stupid. People need to see him play and everybody has seen enough of Peraza.

Has Winker not played this series? That’s inexcusable

    LOL.
You can ignore stats, but I don't think MLB managers do. Including Bell.
Gennett is blue chip trade bait? Coming off a major injury? He will have plenty of time to show that he can regained his form from last year. Don't push Scooter, he hasn't looked great at the plate in Games 1 and 2. PS== Scooter 2/13 vs Lester (.154/5 Ks) And I love Scooter as a Red.

The Reds aren’t going to sign Scooter and his only use to the Reds is trading him. The fact that he hasn’t looked good suppprts my argument. He needs at bats.

    Thanks, didn't know that.

On a separate topic...those 1936 Palm Beach alternates could be difficult to watch.

Peraza is also our best base stealer, something that shouldn't be ignored against "no-throw over" Lester
