    Just checking in to make sure i wasn’t the only one that lost that last bit of hope. Time to figure out who’s going to give us the best return...

    I was super happy with the trades in the off season. However, the underperformance by the offense cost us a lot of 1 or 2 run ball games early in the season. The pitching was good while it lasted, and tonight confirmed what I was thinking....the boat has sunk.

    Reds playoff odds drop to 3% (were 13% two weeks ago).

    Anyone at the game tonight know what the deal was on the free chik fil a sandwich? I saw something on the board but have no idea what it was about.

    @Reds

    “I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    As if that's been a long time ago.
    thom is always using stats that dont matter. if he ever came out and said "thats the first time this happened since 1902" it would get my attention. but its always something like "this is the first time votto struck out twice in a game since july 10." wow! and a lot of other broadcasters do that. they set up a factoid and i'm all ready to be wowed and it's something that happened 2 years ago!

    Seems like when the Reds make a decent acquision, they can't flip it.. They want to hold the guy to maintain the illusion that they have a competent front office.
    Agreed. Further signs that the Reds' problem is at the top: Cast...

    FSO clearly believes that having anything come out of Thom's mouth is better than having us watch the game absent that running commentary drivel.

    It all starts at the top. There are many problems but they're all just symptoms of the underlying disease that is this ownership group.
