I'm for the DH, but only if you can't use it to keep the pitcher out of the batting line-up -- you get a position player that doesn't have to bat.

I think he can play 2nd, but won't be above average, just like Scooter and Dietrich are not.

I think the NL should go to two DH's in each lineup, to get a competitive advantage over the AL.

I think George Grande is a great guy, and I miss him on the Reds broadcasts. (Never thought I would have said that 10 years ago!)

Lavarnway is scary bad behind the plate.

I had no idea Adam Duvall was back in the big leagues. He just HR'd for ATL. In fairness, everyone has HR'd for ATL tonight.

Iíll tell ya...and let me preempt by saying I love taking all the games from him, but George Grande is the MAN. He is the nicest guy in the whole wide world. And itís NOT just me that thinks this. You could ask anyone...ANYWHERE AND theyíll tell you the SAME thing. George Grande is as GREAT as they come. Words canít really express.

I didn't know Duvall was back up, but I did know that he had been tearing it up at Gwinnett this season. (Part of me still has Atlanta's AAA club in Richmond, though.)

Great final pitch by Disco to get Story and save the free 90' that inning from being a run or runs!

Couldn't have two bigger clod-hoppers on the basepaths there.
