Hard to believe the Braves managed to win that game after blowing the 3 run lead. Huge swing in the standings given that they pulled it out. They'll be real tough to catch.

    Greinke to 'Stros!

    4 prospects in return.

Now says Corbin Martin, B. Bukauskas Seth Beer, and Josh Rojas.

.@Braves designate LHP Luiz Gohara for assignment.

They must be convinced Gohara can't come back from his injuries. Too bad.

Worst season ever? For 2019 Tigers, its now a real possibility

Its hard to believe now, but the Tigers started the season at 18-20. Since May 13, theyve gone 12-51

Great deal for Arizona, only have to eat $24 million of Greinke's contract and get Houston's 3rd, 4th, and 5th prospects. I'm not sold on Bukauskas as his walk per 9 are at 5.7 this year but I'm a big time Beer guy and Martin looks like he'll be at least a solid starter at some point.

edit: Josh Rojas looks like a nice grab too. 25 years old but a .967 OPS in AA and a .987 OPS in AAA this year and a 64 K/52 BB to go along with 20 HR and 32 SB.

    Arizona got a haul.....

Astros will be a tough out in the playoffs with a rotation of Verlander,Cole and Greinke.

Nats helped themselves with bullpen additions. But anyone would have helped because their pen has been a dumpster fire all season. Its amazing where they are considering that.

Twins are about to suffer a devastating come from ahead loss to the Marlins in Miami. Led 4-1 going to the ninth. Haven't recorded a single out and the winning run is on third.

Luckily for them, they come home to face the Royals tomorrow, so they may be able to shake this one off quickly.

I did. Wow, that's some Houdini escape for the Twins in the 9th. I definitely prefer the Twins winning that division over the [BLEEPING] Indians, so I'm certainly not mad!
