Ha! Great summary. I was still following the Reds. I just quit looking at message boards for 18 years

Sun Deck was dropped about two years after I joined, so add two years to whatever displays over on the left.

i just looked and saw that I joined 04-17-2000. For some reason, I seem to remember that I was the 14th member to join. I really don't know if that is right though. I was previously on the Enquirer forum.

    Damn. Over 19 years.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

I loved the point system for users to access the ORG but can appreciate how problematic that was administrators. Better to have an inclusive board anyway.

As delightful as everyone's collective walk down memory lane may be, OPs point was to call out the need for what most of us younger folks would consider to be things you take for granted on most message boards in 2019. I second his notion as there are a ton of things frustrating about this boards interface.

And before I get lambasted for saying that so bluntly, Ill point out the resident AARP constituency has zero room to get fired up over someone yelling "get off my lawn" n here about something
