Chargers are in trouble...once again, it looks like Phillip Rivers will get little to no help...story of his career.
From Rotoworld with Rotoworld comments:
Updating an earlier report, Chargers S Derwin James has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
The Chargers aren't offering much info at the moment, only acknowledging that James will "continue to be evaluated" and that his "course of treatment is still to be determined." James, a first-team All-Pro selection at safety during his debut 2018 campaign, suffered the injury at Thursday's practice. It's been a rough few weeks for the Bolts, who are now without James, Keenan Allen (ankle), Melvin Gordon (contract holdout) and starting left tackle Russell Okung (pulmonary embolism). It's likely James lands on injured reserve.
