Yes, from 1972 through 1984 the uniform was unchanged. In 1985, they made a very slight change in the block number font (it was difficult to tell the difference, but the "2" was most noticable) -- but otherwise it was unchanged. In 1988, they added red stripes down the pantlegs, and outlined the red numbers and lettering on the gray road jerseys in white, but otherwise it was still the same, and it stayed that way from 1988 through 1992. In 1993, they made significant changes, going with button-up uniforms, sleeveless home jerseys, and pinstripes. They also introduced a white home cap with red pinstripes.

So from 1972 through 1992, it was essentially the same uniform, with only a couple of minor changes.

I drove up from BG this morning. This line up makes me feel like I stopped in Louisville by mistake...

Oh well. Bench Bobblehead in hand! Over under on 10 runs by the Cards?

On August 17, 1976, the Reds lost 3-2 to the Braves at Riverfront Stadium. The Reds lineup that night:

    Pete Rose 3b

    Cesar Geronimo cf
    Dave Concepcion ss
    Bill Plummer c
    Santo Alcala p
I was convinced Santo Alcala would be the Reds next ace back then.

Maybe Tucker "BAM-BAM" Bamhart will clout a couple of dingers today.

The most STL thing ever is to have some total no-name come up and just give the Reds absolute fits. I feel like Edman has been on base about 20x against us this year.

Man these Cards uni's are ugly. (Ours aren't great either)
The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

Pull those pants down just a tad, and Galvis has the perfect look in that throwback.

Disco walks the second hitter, and Goldy follows up with a double. Gives up a screamer line drive but it's right at Galvis. 2 down.

Edman has a .674 OPS and 17 total bases in 15 interleague games.

He's got a .940 OPS and 13 total bases in 6 games vs. Reds.

OPS vs. CIN is 226 points higher than his season figure.

Rounding third and heading for home...

Disco doesn't give a 2 or 3 HR, and doesn't give up any runs in the first. Progress from his last few starts.
