He had a bad game for sure but I'm just not comfortable putting the whole loss on him.


Senzel made a bad play in CF. Wood didn't pitch well. Practically the entire offense made quick outs for the first 4 innings. Lots of missed scoring opportunities.


Sort of sums up this season.

You're right I just hope next year in the front office and David Bell put them in a better position of win these games next year

Suarez wasn't good but I'd agree the game wasn't on him. The error, while I didn't see it as I was in on the computer, was no doubt bad.

But really it was a game of baseball and inches all day for Suarez in one sense. One bad throwing error and one bad strikeout earlier if memory serves. A little roller to third that Carpenter makes a play on. A liner down the RF line that if it stays fair ties the game followed by a ball with probably 100 mph something exit velocity right at the SS. Then a questionable third strike on a checked swing. It's not like he was up there popping the ball up for first base or looking at strike 3 or swinging at everything in sight every time up and whiffing. Just literally bad luck in one sense.

6-15 on Sundays is absolutely disgusting. You have to try really, really hard to be that bad. There's simply no fight in this team.

It's really a meaningless stat. Just random. So, from Monday to Saturday they are above .500 and a good team?

That's for sure. I agree with (I forget who said it) the person earlier in the thread who said this is the most talented bad team in recent memory.

Positive run differential, good starting pitching, but they just seem to be less than the sum of their parts. The mix just isn't quite right.

Front Office better figure it out for next year.

Completely disagree. They DID battled back in the late innings and came up short. Pen did a good job of giving the Reds a chance. Good ab’s to get runners on.

Yeah they got alot of work to do. The next step up is the hardest and really the only one that matters.
