A guy like Gerardo Parra might make sense, but I'd like somebody younger with more offensive upside. Still, it's number 8 or 9 on my to do list.

    1. Add a bat who can play up the middle. 2. Add another bat who can play up the middle. 3. Add a third bat who can play up the middle. 4. Get a high leverage LH reliever. 5. Get a reliable RH reliever. 6. Get another Reliable reliever, Who cares which hand he throws with. 7. Get somebody who can realistically compete for the 5th starter spot. 8. Get rid of some dead wood (Dietrich, Peraza, etc.). 9. Get OF insurance.
Lol, I’m not trying to rebuild the Reds by adding Adam Duvall.

Someone asked if anyone misses him. I miss his defense and think he’d be a decent 4th OF. Much, much more would be needed obviously.

Thirded. Adam can hit fastball a mile but can't hit a curve with Marty's proverbial ironing board.

Always thought Duvall, Hamilton, and Schebler was a good provisional outfield during rebuilding. I liked all three, recognizing that they were not all around top players.

The Reds used Duvall very heavily, he had over 600 PAs two years running, which was far from optimal. He’d have fared better without so much exposure, maybe as a platoon man who also played occasionally against RHP.

Still, I enjoyed watching them all as Reds and am rooting for AD and BH to go deep into the playoffs. As for Schebler, hopefully he can get going after the injury, even if not as an everyday outfielder, even if not as a Red.

Question: can Aristides Aquino play centerfield?

If so, then Trey Mancini becomes an interesting trade target.
