That was a three series stretch where the Astros lost 7 in a row

3 straight series to the Reds Yanks and Pirates

Astros also started the season 2 and 5.

    And they still won 107.

Astros had a lot of injured players out at the time too. Springer, Altuve, and Correa were out all or most of the series.

The Reds starting pitching and even though heavy usage burned some out, bullpen guys who had their moments, and guys like Suarez, Senzel, Winker, Iglesias....the Reds were good enough to beat anyone in a given series. It just seemed like a team that was out of synch all season. Make of that what you will but sweeping any team in a single series is not unfathomable.
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

I think that makes the Reds the Galaxy Series Champions.

Astros lost 55 games, how could they not go undefeated?

And the Reds won more than two solid months’ worth of games, that’s how good they were.
