64 and 98
91 - 71, the team is looking very sharp. I want to see Freel out there around 150 games, with Haynes gone. I have some reasons to believe this year. The Chemistry will be the key. If you want to look for a reason to believe look to Miley and Chambliss.
82 wins
73-89
Unless of course, Jupiter and Saturn align with Uranus (he he he - I said Uranus), then it will be 74-88.
And on a lighter note, I will also predit Jung Bong will get at least one single this year, then we can all say, "Despite a disappointing 5th place finish by the Reds, they lead the majors in Bong hits."
And can't you just hear Marty now, "After the Bong hit, several Reds players couldn't stop giggling, while munching down sunflower seeds 12 at a time."
"I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum... and I'm all out of bubble gum."
- - Rowdy Roddy Piper
"It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. I am not a big man"
- - Fletch
76-86.
I'm going with 60-102, here's why:
*** VERY inexperienced in the starting rotation (no star pitchers)
*** Junior is already on his way to another injured season
*** Kearns may be going through a sophomore-like season
*** our bullpen is VERY GOOD, but definitely not great or superb
*** we are slow up the middle of the infield
*** Casey has been declining offensively every year
*** the Reds will likely trade the better players at the All-Star break
*** we have next to no bench
*** we made no acquisitions in the off-season that will make an impact this year
I am going to go with 71...crappies that is, first day, with the biggest of the week besting 3 pounds. I have no idea how many wins the Reds will net though, well at least not until trader dan is done.
Good luck.
81-81
71-91
I just don't see them being able to stay healthy enuf to win more.
92-70
This is not the Boone & Bowden show anymore. That should be good for 15 more wins by accident.......
MAKING A PITCH: The Reds entered Sunday seventh in the National League in pitching so far this spring with a 4.44 ERA.
Even more impressive is the starting pitchers' ERA of 3.89

Reds win 87 games 2nd place.
70 wins
"Whatever you choose, however many roads you travel, I hope that you choose not to be a lady. I hope you will find some way to break the rules and make a little trouble out there. And I also hope that you will choose to make some of that trouble on behalf of women." - Nora Ephron
71-91. I think there will be as many questions after this year, as there are before it.
70-92 and that is being optimistic.

75-80 wins. Starting pitchers will bleed wins from this team. Don't be fooled by ST numbers. Pigs ears, silk purse and all that.
