I'm not a concert goer. However, back in the mid nineties, my boyz talked me into going to an outdoor Van Hagar (thats Van Halen with Sammy for those not in the know) and Vince Neil concert. One of the selling points was that we could tailgate starting at noon for a 7pm concert.
We got there right at noon and started drinking and BBQing. My drink of choice that day was absolute and cranberry. I drank too much. Also mixed in a beer or two.
Around 5-5:30 I decided that I wanted to go bungee jumping (they had a big crane set up just for this) - so, wasted, I did it. It was awesome, and i highly recommend bungee jumping.
We were supposed to go stright from the bungee jumping to the concert area, as the bungee jumping was on the way. About 6:45 I decided I needed sleep - i.e, I was about to pass out. So I started the long trek back to the car, thinking I could sleep for an hour or so, wake up and still see Van Halen. I got to the car and passed out in the back seat. Woke up 3 and a half hours later, hearing Sammy in the background thanking everyone for coming and ending the concert. I got out of the car to wait for my friends to get back. I quickly realized i had passed out not in the car we came there in, but in a strangers car. Now I had to figure out where i was and how to find my friends car. Luckily I had only missed by three cars, as our car was right there.
So - I went to a Van Halen concert, got drunk, bungee jumped, passed out in a strangers car, and missed the entire concert. Just another day in Puffy's life.
