    Hey, need some help.
Does anybody order DVD's through DeepDiscountDVD.com? I thought someone on this site suggested this site awhile ago. They also had a deal where you could enter DEEPDISCOUNT in the promo code and get additional money off. I just tried it and that promo code doesn't work. Do you know if they have a new promo code to give you additional money off your purchases?

WOY, between the Ben Grieve comment and the 'heterosexual' thread, you are absolutely killing me. Hilarious stuff.

    Good afternoon!

Roy, Raisor and anyone else who's not feeling well: I hope you get better soon.

    TC, you crack me up.

LF, good luck on that exam!

LGJ, did they give you a topic yet for the exam? Have you had a chance to ask any profs to be on your committee?

Krono, I have an important question for you: We all know you drink apple juice. Do you ever drink apple cider?

Z, good luck with that neighborly situation. Sounds, umm, tricky.

Puffy: You know that picture of Nicole where she's not really wearing anything but her hair is covering her um, chestal area? Do you think that's her real hair?

I had to email an old pal about the club in Dayton, it was driving me nuts. It was the Building Lounge on East 3rd Street downtown Dayton.

We did that and the Jockey Club in Newport. He emailed me this web site for the Jockey Club..... http://home.fuse.net/hohorecords/jockeyclub_history.htm

Looking at the flyers are a real hoot and bring back memories. Very fuzzy and substance-addled memories. God those places were dumps.

    For your edification, Puffy:

NEW YORK, (Reuters) -- When supermodel Heidi Klum decided to write a book, she didn't want it to be just a picture book. She wanted to offer some words of wisdom.

Of course the book, "Heidi Klum's body of knowledge," does have pictures -- 400 of them to be precise, including a number of nude shots and plenty of the German temptress clad in the underwear brand that launched her on the way to super-stardom.

But that's not the point of the book.

Among eight "rules of model behavior" Klum outlines are such maxims as "You have to want it, baby" and "Have a blast while it lasts." And there are tips on getting ahead at work and getting better sex -- Heidi's advice: "Become the fantasy."

Roy, my place of employment is exactly one street up from that location, and, ummm, I'm sorry to have to tell you, but, ummm, the Building Lounge is no longer with us. It was shut down and is now just a vacant space that homeless people break into.

Shenanigans is: calling a service rep to repair an instrument and having them give you a bunch of ideas to try, with a promise of a diagram via email. (You were hoping just to toss a thousand their way to come fix it for you.)

Happiness is: finding the right allen wrench.

I have a meeting tonight and I can't remember if it's at 6 or 7. I think it's at 7 but I'm not too sure. Oh well, it's not like it's that far away from me. I think the time is on an e-mail at home and this guy's house is only about 15 minutes from my place. We'll have the meeting in this guy's basement which looks a lot like the "basement room" (as Rosie called it) at the Reds HOF and Museum. Except for the empty beer can collection that decorate the walls, that is.

It's nearly impossible not to enjoy a nap. However it wasn't the best I ever had, leg hurt some.

    Are you enjoying your almonds?

I ate all of them. I think I'm gonna be sick.

    You'd think @ 27 I'd have a little more self-control than I did when I was 8, but apparently...

I have a meeting with a recipe I saw in the paper this AM for Deluxe Cheeseburger Melt.

The spousal unit is going to garden club tonight and so Roy has KP for the troops. Roy needs something easy to fix and is tired of spaghetti.

I figure the kids will like anything with cheeseburger in the title.

I am one happening dude. Any more excitement and I'd pass out.

    Good question.

I still call it a bill, though.

Yeah, but it sounds so much better to say, "check please" after a girl turns down your advances.

    Ack.

However, 'tis the season and the last time I saw it, my checkbook was glowing cherry red.

And deluxe cheeseburger melt takes Bisquick (check), hamburger (check), cheese (check), and mixed veggies (check), i.e. ABF (Already Bought Food).

Plus I get to hang in the kitchen, have a glass of wine, and mingle with the troops.

Though yours may be the more suave of our two mannerisms, I still say the brutish "fine, gimme the damn bill" has a certain charm to it.

Normally, yes. But today is OT day, also known as Day No. 6 of My Work Week. Am off tomorrow, then it is back to work for another five days.

And I just paid some bills, resulting in a nearly empty checking account, so I can't even complain about the OT day, because I could use the money. :thumbdown
