Congratulations!
I wanted to do a romantic proposal but was shut down when I asked permission from her dad. He didnt think she was ready so he decided to do what NOBODY has ever heard of....said no to the formal permission...man...talk about a ruined engagement.
We said screw it anyways and got engaged but romantic it was not. Now me and the in law are good buds and laugh about it these days, as bad as he feels now.
