I love City of Angels. I'm going to wear that sucker out.

Immortal Beloved, Top Gun, Dirty Dancing and Forrest Gump are among my faves.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

American Graffiti had a great soundtrack of 50s and 60s songs. Top Gun is a favorite of mine because I played the soundtrack a lot while driving to pick up a girl I was in love with back in 1986 (she's now my wife)-I was always playing "Take My Breath Away."
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."

The Phantom of the Opera [2004]
I had American Graffiti on cassette. I listened to it all the time. It was expensive to replace on CD, so I never did. I need to put that on my wish list.
I didn't know Goodfellas had one. I'll have to check that out. Chip .... bring it over next time you're out this way.
Pirates of The Caribbean, pumps you up and makes you want to go out and pillage

I'm also fond of the Empire Records soundtrack. And the Great Expectations, Good Will Hunting, High Fidelity, Pulp Fiction and Magnolia soundtracks.
Sleepless in Seattle - nice mix of styles

i think Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks should play in every movie from here on out as a mildly retarded alcoholic couple with a fascination for volcanoes, shrimp and America Online.Originally Posted by KittyDuran

bought that CD for one song...Empire Records soundtrack
A Girl Like You by Edwyn Collins. I have a habit of buying soundtrack CDs only for 1 or 2 songs - Empire Records is one, the others are In the Name of the Father (Billy Boola-Bono), Threesome (Make Me Smile-Duran Duran and That Was the Day-The The) and Cruel Intentions (Bitter Sweet Symphony-The Verve).
Another fav is the Valley Girl soundtrack - time capsule quality!
