If you are looking for pure-instramental, the Gladiator score is excellent.

Last of the Mohicans. A mandatory inclusion in my road-trip library.

And ET, just 'cause it's the first movie I can remember watching in a theater. And the music fits the scenes well.

I don't have it. But just watch the movie and listen to the music. How can you go wrong with Muddy Waters' Mannish Boy in there not to mention Layla.

Seeing how I'm a fan of 80's hard rock, I'll nominate Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey Soundtrack.

For those like me who are also fans of Disney soundtracks, I thought that Phil Collins did subperb work on the Tarzan and Brother Bear soundtracks.

    Hummm....Not sure I have a favorite.

    What I have:
    Edtv
    Stand by me
    Dirty Dancing
    Pretty Woman
    That Thing You Do
    Forest Gump
    Better off dead

If I had to pick one, I would probably say "better off dead".

Excellent choice Scorpy. Best version of "Kick out the Jams" ever.

I'm taking Repo Man though. Valley Girl was excellent too.
